Our values

Real stories with new outlooks – in our features and documentaries, the world will be represented through the eyes of our protagonists. To empathise with them, we will trace out their ways of life.

Our goal: retrace their sometimes surprising choices that will remind us of the big social issues.

We don’t relay our own ideas through our protagonists — we try to explain their view on the world.

Our camera is our protagonists’ second pair of eyes — we film them as they go along.

Our mission is to put the different points of view into the bigger social context of our time.

Our films are not there to close debates, but to launch them.

Our expertise

Establish a reliable relationship with our protagonists and take time to walk a part of the way together — the camera follows naturally, without interfering.

We don’t make value judgments concerning the choices of our protagonists. The final goal is to take a step back and to open up the debate.

Some examples

Mont Blanc is it for everybody? More and more people try the ascent of the roof of Europe and take mindless risks. What they are looking for? Is it the good way to approach nature?

Should women become a mother at the age of 50 and older? More and more women have children after the menopause thanks to a egg donations. How do they live their maternity? What are the consequences for the children?

Paris suburbs, are they fertile ground for radical Islam? How do the young people in our suburbs really live? What are their prospects for the future, what is their vision of the world?

We choose our interviewees because their real-life experience interests us even if it is different to what we expected.

We avoid leading questions, which suggest certain responses. Our questions are directed by our desire to understand. We don’t need to simplify our interviewees’ points of view. We are able to relate them in their complexity.
